Pool Planting & Multi-Tiered Patio

Following the efforts of two other landscape contractors and one pool company there was little synergy between the landscaping around the house and the newly installed pool area.  In the words of the homeowner, “Our backyard looked like a concrete jungle”.  Overall, the objectives of the project were as follows:

1. Soften new hardscape lines with a mix of perennial and annual plantings

2. Create more usable space via multi-tiering of patio area

3. Create a more formal look for the new pool area via attractive, colorful plantings and new architecture (i.e., arbors, pergola, etc.)

4. Offer a variety of color interests via the successful combination of perennial plantings and annual potted displays
